Full day trip to Essaouira & The Ancient Mogador City :

Explore the laid-back fishing town of Essaouira on a day private tour from Agadir. This attractive coastal town has a lot to offer. Visit the traditional port, the golden beach, famous for wind- and kitesurfing, and stroll through the bustling medina to buy souvenirs and art work. Eat some fresh fish for lunch and enjoy the sea breeze during a camel ride on the sandy beach.

Pick up in the morning in your hotel or at the cruise port of Agadir. Enjoy the drive through the breathtaking Moroccan countryside with its shattered villages, olive groves and wild Argantrees. On the way to Essaouira, you can stop in at a local co-operative run by women who extract the Argan oil from the trees and discover how it is processed into cooking oil and cosmetics. You can taste and buy the products if you like.

After arriving in Essaouira, explore the charming portuguese-style city by foot on your own (no guided tour included). Visit the busy harbor and watch the fishermen unloading their catch of the day, take photos of the picturesque fishing boats and enjoy fresh fish and seafood at its best.

In the medina, you can find beautifully shuttered white and blue houses where local artists are selling their crafts and singing Bob Marley songs. Visit the historic ramparts and imagine life in the 16th century on the fortress along with its beautiful view of the shoreline.
Return to Agadir to your hotel or Agadir cruise port.
