Born in a big Berber Family in the middle of the south moroccan desert, I have spend my early childhood as a nomad travelling around the southern desert. Merzouga and the dunes of Erg Chebbi is what I call home. Do you want to explore it with me?
I have several years of experience as driver and guide with tourists from all over the world and I know all the most beautiful spots in my country. I would love to explore them with you on a private tour and tell you some stories about the life of the nomad people in the desert. Apart from Berber and Arabic, I speak Spanish, French and English.

Doris from Switzerland manages all the client requests and offers and replies to your questions before arriving to Morocco. She loves Morocco and works in tourism since many years as well.
Still nowadays, there are a lot of nomad families living in the Atlas mountains and the Sahara desert. You can often see their tents along the road, the men looking after their kettle and you can even visit them in their home tents in the dunes of Merzouga. Most of them chose their style of living by themselfes – a life of freedom, simplicity and in unity with their animals and mother earth.
As we are children of the desert ourselves, we do know that it is a hard but fulfilling live – and we do know, what the needs of the nomadic people are, especially of the nomad children.
With booking a tour with VIP Sahara Tours, you can make a difference and help those families in a very simple way – 5% of the costs of your tour will be used directly for buying necessery things like children clothes, toys, dry food, toiletries and washing soap, which we will offer directly to the families. If you choose to, we can take you with us during the tour to offer the gifts to the families!
